John was a loving, empathetic husband, father, and grandfather. John is survived by his wife four children and siblings, Richard (Charlene) Reeder, Mary (Bob) Brady, Barbara (Preston) Cutler, and Robert (Kathy) Reeder. He has one grandchild, John William Thorpe. John and Judie are the proud parents of four children, Charles Jason Reeder, Jessica Ann (Reid) Thorpe, John Joseph (Amber) Reeder, and Jay Steven Reeder. John enjoyed skiing, flying, traveling, spending time with friends, family, and his grandson. He supported the scouting program and served in many capacities in the church. He served a two-year mission in Toronto Canada (1964 - 1966). John had great devotion to the LDS Church. He was honored as the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year in 2009. John was an accomplished businessman and involved in the community. In the early 70's he returned with his wife to Twin Falls where he became more involved in the family business, Reeder Flying Service.

John was born March 10, 1967, in Tyler, Texas, to Bill Reeder and Mary Defacio Reeder. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
